A rich and dark Barbera from low-yielding Stellenbosch vineyards. Deep red in appearance. This distinguished wine exhibits typical varietal aromas of dark cherries, plums and leather with delicate hints of raspberries. Complexity and elegance are hallmarks of this vintage. Try this versatile wine with rich dishes like tagliatelle ragu, mushroom pasta, dark red meats or root vegetables.

Details of Vinification: 
Grapes were crushed into bin liners for fermentation, after which it was pressed in a small basket press straight into 225L French oak barrels and then matured for 24 months. The wine was bottled by hand without filtration and may contain sediment.
